Our Story

Mercer's Garage was founded in 1939 as an auto repair and appliance shop by Johnny and Walter Mercer.  In 1974, Mercer's Garage moved to its current location

at 1761 Kentucky Avenue. Gary Houston purchased it from Johnny Mercer in 1978.

Gary continued the auto repair shop on for 47 years with honest communication

and quality auto repairs.

Today the shop is run by Drew Ramage, who believes in doing things the right way, every time. He's built a team of hardworking technicians who share that same mindset. You'll know it the moment you walk in.

We're the shop you keep coming back to because we were straight with you the first time. That's been the standard here for over 80 years and we plan to keep it that way.
